Engineers’ Group Meeting

Our regular scheduled CPEng group meeting was held today. We covered:

- FRONZ Conference report

-Development of an ‘advice to Operators Bulletin’, post Randall’s Ab axle failure report.

- KiwiRail/FRONZ management meeting reported to by Mike

- HoC update. Their new structure and relationship with HTC.

- Maintaining Engineers' currency in a period of light workload. Mike to survey groups about their upcoming work for the CPEng team

-Insurance for Engineers update.

- CO2 emissions mitigation issues.
